Albuquerque Commercial Real Estate Boom · Albuquerque is numero uno among the fastest-appreciating markets, according to a column in the Dec. 12 issue of the weekly California Real Estate Journal. The column, written by Craig Thomas of Torto Wheaton Research, ranked Detroit second and Jacksonville, Fla., third. Tucson was sixth. · Albuquerque is the sixth best investment market for commercial property, according to a Dec. 11 article in The New York Times. The article, which credited Moody's Investor Service for the rankings, said the Duke City trailed behind Los Angeles, New York City, Orange County (Calif.), Honolulu and Washington, D.C.
