Best Cities for Building Wealth

More great news for Albuquerque, New Mexico and homes and living in the area - www.Salary.com just mentioned Albuquerque, New Mexico as one of the Top Five places to live to "build wealth".  The salary value index compares local salaries, the cost of living and unemployment rates among U.S. cities with populations greater than 250,000.  Albuquerque, New Mexico was rated at #5.   Other considerations are diversity of industry, education level of the population, proximity to secondary educational institutions, percent of population below the poverty level, and median travel time to work.   Albuquerque's travel time to work brings up a great point - because we are basically a 'landlocked' southwestern city, most of our housing and real estate living areas are within a 30 minute drive of the business and employment districts.  Surrounded by reservations, federal land and park open space, we only have a small area where you can build homes.  Those areas are d
